Keep On Keeping On

It's likely that we've all heard that phrase before at some point. It might even be something you heard from a motivational speaker or positive thinking guru at some point. Why? Because it works.

I market my business through a variety of methods. This website is one of many, many different methods I use. But today at approximately 10 a.m. I received an e-mail notification about an order placed on my jerky website. The e-mail explained that someone placed an order on my site and I earned a $21 commission as a result. How cool is that?

I use the power of the Internet to market myself and my business for free 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. My marketing is working for me whether I am sleeping, on vacation, at church, watching a ball game on TV, or out at the lake fishing.

It took me a little up front effort to get it going, but once I put in the effort up front the internet maintains my marketing presence for me. It's not hands off by any means, but I don't spend hours and hours a day or week maintaining it either. I don't even spend hours and hours a month maintaining it. I do add to it periodically and consistently and as a reward I receive those nice little e-mails when an order is placed for products.

Like many, I dabbled in network marketing for many years with some inconsistent success.

I would jump in and jump out of each new opportunity that came along hoping that each new one was the one. If this sounds familar, don't feel badly. There's a problem with MLM that has been created by some of it's biggest and most successful distributors.

In a previous opportunity, my sponsor was extremely successful - seemingly overnight. Her quick success actually discouraged rather than encouraged me because it actually seemed effortless. I convinced myself that I would never be able to duplicate her efforts. To make a long story short, she was far from an overnight success. She actually spent 15 years in the industry putting in solid, consistent, hard work and effort. She was actually part of the upper 2% of networkers that we all aspire to become, but she didn't sell herself that way. Instead, she chose hype over substance and that is why I and many others are no longer active in her company.

I've decided to take a different approach in my new opportunity. I'm taking a realistic approach to building a network. I'm building a network for (with) the rest of us.

I am an independent distributor with Jerky Direct. The company offers products that are a natural fit for bbq contests. It combines natural meat products, direct sales, and the power of leverage through network marketing to provide an income opportunity for those that choose to participate.

To become a distributor, it's simple -- enroll as a distributor on their website and place a $12 order for two bags of jerky to be shipped direct-your-doorstep each month. Each $12 twin-pack autoshipment (plus shipping) carries a $5 commission. The company pays a 20% commission on all retail sales made from your website and a 5% commission on all wholesale sales on your first level. It's as simple as that.
